Slap a comp/RDS mount on there for her, haha.

I carry a 17C as my primary, and I've had no issues with it. Some folks complain about it killing their night-vision, but I haven't had any problems with that.. it's not like you don't see muzzle-flash with a vanilla 9mm.

On the other hand, I don't really notice much of a difference between firing it vs. a standard 17, and it's a bit of a pain in the *** to clean. In hindsight I probably wouldn't have bothered with the C.

Glock has factory ported models. The carry the "C" designation after the model number (i.e. G19C). They will fit in any holster that fits the non-ported model.

You can also get competition style compensators for Glocks. They will add length and reduce the holsters that you can use.

Lastly, shoot a comped gun in a dark room. The experience will be illuminating.

    Glock Compensator

Has anyone tried to compensate their Glock on/off duty weapon? I don't want to mod mine but I thought about it on my wife's gun to relieve some of the kick.

    Any thoughts????
