Our fiscal year is up and last month we submitted our "wish list" for training, gear, etc, to the admin for the upcoming budget. I put that on my list and submitted it as "Dignitary Protection Interdiction Vehicle". My boss was of course unfamiliar with what it was and asked for clarification. To which I emailed him the following link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qU0FEOgvUGo

His reply......How many do you want?

My reply......1 is good but 2 is better. Ya know 2 is one, one is none.

His reply......Well then, lets ask for 4. We have just as much chance of getting 4 as we do 1. LOL

Yes, I always ask for a lot.

              500? Try 2000-6000rpm

                Like JWISE's story:
One of our SWAT snipers put in for Miami-Dade SCUBA and waterborne SWAT operations school. His justification was that we have 3 large ponds in the middle of our suburban city with about a dozen houses around it each of them. Administration wasn't very enthused, but it was funny to see what they wrote in the REASON FOR DENIAL section, which was something to the effect of "Walk Around It"

Isn't that Dillon vehicle the one used by Secret Service?

If that's the same one I've played with, it's right around 1300rpm.

Thanks guys. I stand corrected. 500 rounds per minute PER BARREL. Multiply that times the 6 barrels and you have a total of 3,000 rounds per minute.

Gives new meaning to the term "withering fire."

That is stupidly awesome that someone actually probably keeps that in their garage. I'd hate to cut them off in traffic if they were having a bad day :P

                              1. I never knew it was possible to have a bad day at the range.
                              2. I do know an agency in the U.S. that has used something like that for years. Their official policy is that what they protect is so important that ""collateral damage"" is acceptable - and no, it's not the Secret Service. Fortunately, their intel op is so good, they have never had to deploy it.
