How do you stab someone when the bayonet doesn't protrude past the end of the Barrett?

It sits low enough below the barrel to where you it them in the chest of you aim for their head.

It's not there to stab anyone. It's there for one purpose- If whatever you are trying to kill survives all that other stuff, you take the knife, and slash your own throat because you are obviously screwed.
