  • MR07 adapter

I have a 1911 without a rail. How are the Surefire MR07 adapters? Are they pretty sturdy? I know they attach to the slide lock; do they affect the operation of the pistol at all?

I do not have experience with the MR07 on a 1911 specifically, but I do have the MR09 on my HK USP. expensive, but Top notch quality. Fits tight, is secure, and does what it advertises.

I also have the SF adapter on my USP.

Nothing I can say that hasn't been said before --- fits tight, secure, and the quality is unparalleled. Bottom line --- Surefire's adapters are the way to go. Just be sure to apply some blue Loctite to the threads and screws.
