  • Good deal or no? Hornady Press

I just picked me up a:

    Lock N Load
Case Feeder with conversions for 9/40/45 cases
40SW dies and set up for reloading that way
    Automatic Powder Drop included

Plus all the little particulars that come with it.

    $575

    ;-)

Yea, it’s a good deal. Not a steal, but way better than retail.

    Now I’m playing with fire.

I’ve been using a 30 year old Hornady “PROJECTOR”. It’s so old I can’t hardly get any internet hits on it.

Now I can keep up on my usage verses production abilities.

If I could only find bullets. I'm getting tired of casting them.

If it were me, and I did not really need the $$ (How much are you going to get for the old Projector anyway?) I would keep it and set it up as a specific caliber, and leave the newer Lock N Load for another.

I currently use the L'N'L for all my loading (its the only press I have). But I would love to have one set up for .223 and use the other for my pistols....

How much are you asking for the projector, and whats included?
