  • .577 T-Rex Rifle

This rifle may have been made just for youtube.

Is it me or does this video look like it was filmed at an Evil Henchman convention?

    This is a 577 T- rex cartridge

does it come with a free replacement shoulder?

I would like to try it once though. That is an old but still entertaining to watch.

If you watch the video a few of the guys grab the gun in mid-air after it flies out of their hands.

One of those guys catches it, but the weapon is now facing the back of the room. So he grabs it like he is about to fire, puts his finger on the trigger, and turns. Pointing a weapon with a "t-rex" caliber directly at the camera man for a good second.

That almost went from funny to manslaughter. That guy obviously had no firearms experience, and was handed a huge gun that he subsequently pointed at someone.

Imagine if that was the .700 nitro express with a 1000 gr. slug...

Now imagine if it were an old 2 Bore rifle with a 3500 gr. slug that was 34mm (1.32 in) in diameter.

I believe that a certain attachment on the muzzle would be useful.

While that may not have been the best firearms handling techniques and rules were broken, they would have actually needed to work the bolt, eject the old casing, chamber another round, close the bolt and then pull the trigger. Only 1 guy seemed capable of doing that.
