  • Glock 21 ACP or GAP?

I am wondering what yalls opinion is on the glock 21 ammo types. I have heard that the GAP is a little more expensive but as for ballistics what would yall rather carry? I'm not talking about a compact weapon vs. full frame. Glock supports either The ACP or GAP ammo. What would you prefer to shoot?

You aren't going to be able to find as much ammo, or ammo as cheap with .45GAP.

    Go with the .45ACP

.45ACP has been killing people almost as long as 9mm has.

Of course, with .45ACP, it costs more...

              Who told you this?

The GLOCK 37 would like to have a word with you.

                It can't...

The Glock 37 is chambered in 45GAP, and has a "standard" Glock 17/22 frame, and a beefed up slide.

hmm, according to the guy at the store I ordered from you can either get a 21 that shots Acp or GAP ammo. I was originally thinking GAP ammo was made for smaller frames.

.45 GAP Glocks are smaller frame Glocks. The G21 is THICK and Glock wanted to put .45 power into a 9mm frame like how the .40 S&W fits their 9 mm frames. Not a bad idea but the .45 GAP ammo capacity still leaves a bit to be desired.

He was probably referring to the G37 which is pretty much the same size as the 21, just chambered for GAP.

GAP sees little advantages in terminal performance and sees disadvantages in terms of mag capacity as well as market price. The cost benefit is definitely not in your favor. You're better off with .45 ACP.

I voted more than once. ACORN said I could! ACP all the way!

Of course, if you'd just get a 1911, you wouldn't have to worry about this decision. Just .38 super, 9mm, 10mm, .40, .45ACP hahahaha

Glock 21 SF (with the Glock rail, not picatinny rail) chambered in .45acp with night sights.

Tell your store clerk to order one of those.

Shorter casing so people with hands that can't grip a full-size framed .45 would have an option to shoot a .45 caliber round. Hope that makes sense. It reads like a poor description, sorry. I'm tired.
