Well, here I am dreading my final exam and final timed and graded run through our obstacle course. Three days left!!

With any grace from God, I'll pass. Than graduation. And finally I will be a deputized Reserve Deputy.

I passed the physical agility test, took the final exam, and participated in the final practical exercises. I just have to wait for the results of the writen test.
Looks like I made it! Should be deputized on saturday 6/16.

Finally graduated the reserve academy last night.

Thursday we should be sworn in by the Sheriff. Then I will be an officially deputized LEO!

Thusday I did get sworn in by the Sheriff. I have been granted full powers of arrest.

I was going to go on my first patrol this weekend, but I fell ill. Monday I will have some tests to find out how bad it is....hopelly not bad and I can start going on patrol.

Saturday night I went on my first ride along as a reserve deputy. I was nervous as heck before I left, but my Sgt. that I rode with got me to settle in and enjoy the night.

We had to respond to an open door at a school, guns drawn, and search and clear. Got to help process in some evidence, and handcuff a suspect (same guy twice).
