i thought id tell a little about myself.My name is chris im a Smyrna Police explorer i have been for about 4 or 5 years i love it and would not change it for anything.for right now i have the coolest job i build Emergency Vehilces(Police Cars Ect).

I am not trying to sound mean but, your profile says you were born in 1988, making you 17 years old right?? But if you have been an explorer for 4-5 years that means you would have been 12-13 when you started explorers.

i was 13 when i joined.


they bent the rules for me,ijust didnt get to do ride-a-longs untill i was 14 or get to go on out of state trips

Ride alongs at 14...a lot of people from my department would be very happy with that. Req. here is 16 to go on ride alongs.

I just checked the website and they only want POST Certified officers.. Oh well
