Wondering what you use to polish your silver, badge, etc. We have a big inspection coming up and everything has to be spit and polished.

    brasso or flitz works well
    for shoes...parade gloss by kiwi.
This profession is not for people looking for positive reinforcement from the public. Very often it can be a thankless job and you can't desire accolades, because those are not usually forthcoming. Just do your job to the best of your ability and live with the decisions you've made.

becareful when it comes to cleaning your badge. if you apply some type of chemicals or cleaners to it, you may destory to protective coatings on them. most badge manufacutres recommend using good old soap and warm water.....some can be polished with toothpaste.

Quite a few guys here actually take their badge to the jeweler to have them REMOVE the protective coating, and have the 'hair removed from the bear'.....that way you can properly polish the badge with Flitz ect......
