Kinda Obvious what my recommendation is....

          Simple Man by Charlie Daniels....

          I ain't nothin' but a simple man
They call me a redneck I reckon that I am
          But there's things going on
That make me mad down to the core.

I have to work like a dog to make ends meet
There's crooked politicians and crime in the street
And I'm madder'n hell and I ain't gonna take it no more.

We tell our kids to just say no
Then some panty waist judge lets a drug dealer go
Slaps him on the wrist and then he turns him back out on the town.

Now if I had my way with people sellin' dope
I'd take a big tall tree and a short piece of rope
I'd hang 'em up high and let 'em swing 'til the sun goes down

Well, you know what's wrong with the world today
People done gone and put their Bible's away
They're living by the law of the jungle not the law of the land
The good book says it so I know it's the truth
An eye for and eye and a tooth for a tooth
You better watch where you go and remember where you been
That's the way I see it I'm a Simple Man.

Now I'm the kinda man that'd not harm a mouse
But if I catch somebody breakin in my house
I've got twelve guage shotgun waiting on the other side

So don't go pushing me against my will
I don't want to have to fight you but I dern sure will
So if you don't want trouble then you'd better just pass me on by

As far as I'm concerned there ain't no excuse
For the raping and the killing and the child abuse
And I've got a way to put an end to all that mess

Just take them rascals out in the swamp
Put 'em on their knees and tie 'em to a stump
Let the rattlers and the bugs and the alligators do the rest

You know what's wrong with the world today
People done gone and put their Bible's away
They're living by the law of the jungle not the law of the land
The Good Book says it so I know it's the truth
An eye for and eye and a tooth for a tooth
You better watch where you go and remember where you been
That's the way I see it I'm a Simple Man

              Hey guys,

Can't beat the Cops theme song and I like Radar Love by Golden Earring too.
But when you are down and thinking about those that have crossed to the other side and you are in reflection you must remember....

Mama, take this badge off of me.
I can't use it any more.
It's getting dark, too dark to see.
Feel like I'm knockin' on heaven's door.

Knock, knock, knockin' on heavens door.
Knock, knock, knockin' on heavens door.
Knock, knock, knockin' on heavens door.
Knock, knock, knockin' on heavens door.

Ma, take these guns away from me.
I can't shoot them any more.
There's a long black cloud following me.
Feel like I'm knockin' on heaven's door.

                        He walks the Beat
                        Riding scumbags from the streets
He turns his eye to petty crime

I fought the law as covered by the Clash would be my immediate thought.

I have seen (or rather heard) public order vans playing The A Team and The Benny Hill Show theme tunes on the way to jobs on their loud speakers, which was naughty, but funny.

For some reason, when I was posted to a particular station, on nights when we put out vans full of coppers (Friday and Saturdays aka fight nights) there was a tradition of everyone singing The Lion Sleeps Tonight on the way to jobs (maybe because of the "in the jungle, the mighty jungle" lyric).

Though not intended to be a cop sing (I presume) One Way or Another by Blondie works as a cop song ("One way or another, I'm gonna get you, get you, get you, one way or another, I'm gonna find you, find you, find you").

I remember transporting a prisoner back from a station in another force area who was bitterly and at annoying length protesting her innocence. The Eagles Lyin' Eyes came on and myself and my amigo began singing along until she finally got the message and shut up.

But the song which brings back the most memories would have to be Don't Stop Me Now by Queen. A few years ago myself and, I seem to recall, 3% of Britain's entire Police Officers, were on the road to protect the G8 conference in Scotland. The call came in that all hell had broken loose in Edinburgh and all the vans in the convoy (and we're talking hundreds) put their blue lights on and speeded up. Simultaneously. Now that was a buzz - pretty much every vehicle on a jam-packed road for miles to the front and miles to the rear switching on their lights and sirens and moving off on the hurry up with Don't Stop Me Now providing the background music.
I'm a little bit waayy, a little bit wooah, a little bit woosh, I'm a geezer.

Definitely John Law by Dropkick Murphy's.
I see it's already been stated by others. Very good.
