disposable cuffs

Alright here is the question: disposable cuffs are they worth it to buy? My agency only supplies with one pair of handcuffs and one handcuff case.

Today I ran into a 6'3 300lb broad shoulder subject. and only had one pair of cuffs to work with. so for now thought of buying a 10 pack of disposable cuffs just till i get money together to buy and brand new handcuff case and pair of cuffs.

by the way Im 5'8 170 lbs so wouldnt have been pretty if he wouldnt have cooperated.

Your money would be better spent on a pair of Peerless (or whatever brand you're issued, if your concerned about thm matching) hinge cuffs and a strap or second case. They open/close bigger and offer more torque action during cuffing for "Big Boys". Disposables are a pain to carry and to get on an "uncooperative" party. You can also hook the two pairs together for people who can't bring theai arms together behind they're backs due to injury or size.
