Radio Holster...?

Has anyone tried the "porta clip?" Does it actually work with radios that have belt clips (without turning the radio backwards...although, if it works that way, I'll do it)? How about any other suggestions? My Bianchi Nylon swivel radio holster is getting to be a pain (takes up a bit too much space on the belt, and sticks out a bit far for my liking), and the porta clip looks cool, if it would really work...

I'd take the belt clip off the radio, the "Porta-Clips" hold pretty tight on their own. It's one of those simple yet highly useful designs that you sit there and say "why didn't I think of that?"

I 2nd the vote for the porta-clip. It holds the radio high and close the body and does a good job of holding the radio tight. I have seen some officers who use shoulder microphones turn the radio backwards in the porta-clip and clip on the radio to help hold it in, but I don't think it adds that much security.

Love it. I turned the radio backwards and just shoved the thing in there, it doesn't come out unless I want it to. Highly recommended.
