  • I need a pouch/holder for a X200 Surefire

I see them everywhere for M3s but no surefire stuff. Any ideas?

The X200 will fit in the pouches for the M3, it is just a bit smaller so it won't fit as tightly though. It will also fit onto the slip-on carriers that mount a picatinny type rail to your belt for the light to be held on to.

    I don't think you'll be seeing a pouch specifically for an X200.
Nobody ever wants to have to fight, but its a darn good idea for someone to know how.

I never thought about the picatinny type attachment. Galls has them I think. Thanks.

        Try 511 Equipment

The company that makes 5.11 tactical equipment has a set up. A bag you can by with a baton case, flashlight case, holster, etc. All in one kit. Theirs a bunch of other stuff too, but dont have the catalog in front of me. The point is. For about 40 or 50 bucks you could have the entire kit. Use what you want on or off duty, and as for your question. Both the flashlight and baton holder attach to your belt, or velcro attachements both, AND have a strap in front that you can adjust the tightness of. So if one day you use it to carry an asp, or other baton type tool it will fit, then at night if you want to put a flashlight in it, It will fit. Try it out, all their other gear is expensive but really good tactical stuff that last a long time, and for various uses. I also use the pants, coats, boots, and other gear from them, and it's the best ive ever used. Started using their gear at the academy. Click on the 511 link when you go onto a site, but the prices will be real high? So click onto 5.11 from the Galls section and the prices will show a huge decrees. Once you log on as Law Enforcement. good luck.

Why don't you keep it on the gun? The time that you need it, you won't have time to reach for it and mount it.

Might not have the correct holster for the light attachment.

              Because we're not allowed to.

No offense to you, personally...but whoever wrote that policy NEEDS to remove their head from their ***!!! That is totally crazy, I certainly hope that you and others smart enough to carry such a light are working to get that changed.

Seconded... I bet its because "Tactical lights make the officers look more threatening and "tactical," which is not the image we wish to present to the public. Those devices should be for the SWAT team."
