  • Trauma kit

I am wanting some opinions on what to carry as a personal trauma kit. I have seen the Individual Patrol Officer Kits, does anyone have experience with these or any others?

I'll try and find you the link, but I carry a vacuum sealed pocket kit with a tourniquet, pressure dressing, packing gauze and quick clot. It's a sweet pack, just can't remember the name. It's blue line medical or something close to that
    In Valor there is hope

North American rescue makes a pack check them out. I like their tourniquet the most too

ITS Tactical makes three kits that are great... one for your belt, and one that yo can leave i the car, or like me, attach it to your tac vest. The belt one is the EDC trauma it, just a SWAT-T Tourniquet, hydrostatic gauze, and gloves in a kit for your duty belt. The bigger one, either the ITS ETA trauma kit in FATBOY or TALLBOY (they are both the same, the case is just long or wide) is a true blowout kit... It will save your life.
Why do we try so Hard for Little things, and so Little for Hard things?

R.I.P Hand Sanitizer, you will be missed…

I carry a Medical Tactics TRIK Kit. It has most everything you could need, fits in a cargo pocket, the downside is it is a little bulky. One of the upsides is if you have their kit and have to use it, they will replace it for free.

TacMed Solutions has some good ieas.

TacMed OLAES bandage, they offer it in a fold flat version so it can fit in a pocket, I'd carry that at a minimum, it works like an upgraded Israeli bandage.

Dark Angel Medical. They sell not only trauma kits but offer training courses to go with it. One of the best classes I've been to.
