I've heard of people carrying knives, medical supplies, pens, BUGs etc on their vests. Just looking for some good ideas and curious what you guys carry, if anything.

Oh, you know. The basics. Snacks, shopping list, multi-tool, spare oil for the unit, light bulbs, shaving cream. Just stuff I might need. -

I have on my vest a Kbar last ditch knife(top of trauma plate cover), Bug with reload(right side) and med kit with tourniquet, chest seal and 4x4's(left side)Comment

Seriously, I keep a BUG on the right side, that's about it.The sheep generally do not like the sheepdog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, cannot and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheepdog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed.

Oh, just my mcguyver stuff - crowbars, AR-15, machete. The usual.
I can't get to my vest without an excessive amount of time. If it takes that long to get something (and it cant fit on my belt), it rides in the car until I do need it. BUG is elsewhere. Small tangent - We've switched to BDU-style uniforms so (when mine finally comes in) I'm gonna put the cargo pockets to use, just like I do in the military. Polyester uniforms are fine for court, but pretty useless for uniform patrol.Comment
