  • Looking for a Quality Window Punch.

I'm looking around for a good window punch. Nothing fancy just something that works every time that won't rust. Any suggestions?

There are some that are small and look like an awe.

Your ASP (closed) works fine also.

Also search for "automatic center punch". When I was a metal worker we used them daily to mark the corners of metal cutouts through overlayed 1:1 blueprint. Same device.

              .

I use one of these pen style ones from Streichers. The picture doesn't show it, but it has a clip on it like a pen to hold it in place. They are like $5.

For carrying on your person on duty, I prefer this. I have the black version clipped with my spare cruiser key and cuff key on my duty belt. It's not noticeable but is always there. You can buy them all over the place... eBay, cop shops, etc. It's called a "res-q-me." I think I paid $7 or $8 for mine.

A simple hammer from your local hardware store would work fine if you don't want to get too fancy.

                    I use my ASP.

ASP works fine, you just have to do it right and hit the corners.
