Handcuff cleaning and care

I am new... brand new, starting the academy in a little over a week. I had a buddy pass down a few pair of handcuffs to me. They seem a little stiff, but are otherwise in good working condition. I was curious if any of you had a special method that you use to clean/oil your cuffs.

I know I saw something on this topic before, but I couldn't seem to find it in the search function. Thanks in advance.

They should loosen up and get smoother with frequent use.
