Duty Gloves

I have a pair of leather hatch gloves that I kep in my bag and was wandering if anyone actually wears them during their entire shift?

Nope - my hands sweat. Behind the belt in front.

I keep them in my pocket but when i get dispatched to a call i put them on in rout or i put them on before i make a contact with some body. It does not bother me at all making people wait for me to out my gloves on. Its my time not theirs.

True what TMG says. Its a real good idea to have gloves on during an interventions. So if you can put them on, do it! Only takes 5 seconds.
I work in a prison and the number of inmates with Hepatitis, HIV or AIDS is close to 80% or even higher. And those guys are brought in by our fellow police officers.
