What were your choices of stations if you don't mind sharing? I hear Naco and Ajo have been common recently as far as Arizona. Atleast thats the word in Tucson sector.Comment

I have a question for those of you who have already been through the background investigation. Were the former employers, acquaintances and neighbors listed actually contacted by an investigator? I know every investigator will do things differently and it depends a lot on the applicant’s past but I’m asking in general. I know when I went through this process for USPP only one (most recent employer at the time) was contacted. The reason I ask is to know if I should go through the tedious process of contacting all of my former employers and friends to give them a heads up.
Thanks for the help….Last edited by CZ_Kid; 09-25-2010, 12:09 PM.Comment

I was not given a choice between stations. I was only offered Nogales AZ. To CZ_Kid, i know they paid a visit to my current place of employment. The interviewed my direct supervisors and talked to random co-workers i did not list on my application. when they went i was working there for about 2+ years. I also heard the walked my street door to door asking about me. He interviewed my roommates before me when he came to my apartment. He said he tried to call other places of employment but got really no response to answers. I worked in call centers and IT tech support contracting a few years before. He said it was kind of a good thing as well as bad as they didn't have anything negative to say and must of did my work and stayed out of trouble. They were huge places where hundreds of people in booths answering phones with a supervisor you never knew and you were only a number meeting goals. He did did ask about some supervisors names and numbers if i had any. I didn't even know most of my managers names. Most of the places i couldn't even give numbers for. I worked for Cox Communication for a year internship and the only number i could give them was the Tech support number or the automated sick line were you call enter your employee number and hit 1 to call out lol.Comment

I was in the process in 2008 but couldn't take the position. I reapplied and they were able to take my interview, and I have already completed the medical, fitness, and drug screen. However, they still haven't cleared my paperwork. Anyone else have this problem?Comment
