I am going on 4 weeks for two of my items to be updated on CASS. Thus, I would say 4 weeks looks like it might be the norm for now.

    Good luck,

I have heard it takes anywhere from 1-4 weeks for the statuses to be updated. Has anyone else have long waiting times with the CASS website?
Looks like we both have similar timelines. CASS has been slow for me too. The Job Status Line updates a lot quicker than CASS for me. The Job Status Line had the fitness test updated only four days after the test where as CASS still has not been updated.

My CASS was updated last night. I hope that it was updated for everyone else too.

        • I applied back in November; the first written test available in my area was mid January. It's been over three weeks since I took the written test, and I still don't have the results. Is it normal to have such a long wait? I know it is with other federal agencies, but I was under the impression that CBP was quite a bit faster... Is there any way to check on my status?

          • My requirements on CASS updated today also.

Three weeks is normal. Since it took a little over three weeks for my results to be delivered, I believe you should be receiving your results within the next two weeks.

El Paso is having its 3rd annual marathon on 03/01/2009. I would like to do the 5k or half marathon. If any of you are interested in doing it too, send me a PM.

                • Guys, I just checked my CASS and it looks like some things were updated.

I took my medical/physical on the same day and it's showing my fitness as 'updated' but my medical exam as 'pending.' Should I be concerned?

The fitness test is easy to determine whether you passed/failed. The medical takes a bit longer because a medical professional must review all of the results and your medical history.

Thought so. Thanks for the prompt response. I appreciate it.

For those who got the El Centro sector, what cities are you currently residing in? It looks like some of the cities included in the sector aren't the best places to live in. But don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining .

                        • I am going to Artesia on 02/11/2009. I want to check out some deals Big Chief Trading Post & Pawn is offering. Since I am still looking for someone to go running with, if you are in the Artesia area and want to do some running, maybe we can meet up. Since you are willing to assist me with running, I could assist you with errands you may have.

                            • I was just told I may have to wait until Fall of this year to hear back from Scheduling for the Grand Forks EOD. The schedulers told me that it would be at least 30-90 days but may not be until Fall. Does anyone know what the time frames are between EOD notification and the actual EOD these days? How much time will i have to get my affairs in order before shipping out? If this was posted elsewhere, i apologize.

WiFi in the convenience store/pub building.

Honestly I brought my laptop and haven't used it once. I just use the computer labs. Much easier and effective instead of hauling my laptop everywhere.
