Uncle Sugar footing the bill for Rosetta Stone for PA's...you sure of that?
That's news to me. I know that DoD and ICE offer it free to their employees, but I haven't heard of CBP offering free RS up to anyone.

I want to know Spanish well enough to pass Academy's test so I can graduate as soon as possible. If no one is using RS, what is recommended? I would like to take some college Spanish classes. However, I am working 60-70/wk. Thus, I have not been able to find a college course that fits my schedule. As a result, I am leaning towards CBT.Last edited by Section8; 09-24-2008, 01:32 AM.BPA Status

Medical cleared in CASS, injury is all healed and good to go. Qualifications are the last thing left, and there was that little snafu with my college transcripts that pushed that back a bit. c'mon la bamba!"Officer, you are kinda hot."
"And you are kinda intoxicated."

I have a question for anyone that might know about the BPA application process. Back in February of this year I had scheduled to take the BPA test, but then decided to cancel for various reasons. Well, I have since opted to take the test and I am scheduled to take it on 10-20. My application is still valid, but I have held another job since filling it out the application the first time. Do I need to fill out a new app. or just tell someone about it later? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I couldn't find anything on cbp.gov about this problem.

I wouldn't worry too much about your initial application. It really doesn't mean too much (unless your new occupation is drug dealer, pimp, or human trafficking smuggler). You will have plenty of places to list every job you have ever had in great detail later in the pre-employment/ Background sections of your paper work.
Anybody else please correct me if I am wrong!BPA

Hey guys, new to this thread. Took compressed testing yesterday and passed. Oral is next week. Anyone know if they tell you on the spot if you pass/fail the OB? In that case I wont fill out all this paperwork right this second. Not that I'm planning on failing...
