Whew!.. I only scored a 73- and that was with me changing a whole bunch of answers in the ALT portion with the little time I had left before the clock ran out- oh well, I'll take it.

It's been a long week! I've got to get my e-quip and fingerprints mailed out by Saturday! I have not had anytime to get it done because my wife just gave birth to my third child early Monday morning! Guess I should be working on it instead of being on here.
In response to the conversation about the former BPA re-applying after getting into some trouble! I've been a cop for 8 years and I've seen a lot of cops get fired. Every single one lost his job due to alcohol, women or a combination of both! The ironic thing is when I first began a career in LE one of my sergeant's told me that nothing would end my career quicker than "badge bunnies" and booze! I took his advice and stay away from BOTH! Keep that in mind you young guys just starting out!

I got my NOR today, got a 104 with 10 vet points. Better than I expected.
Im worried about the hearing test that will come after the TO because I have tinnitus in my left ear. Last audiology test I took for the DOE I had a 65dB loss at 3000Hz. On Honor First and OPM sites it says they only test for 500, 1k, and 2kHz. Its thats true I will pass ok, but CBP site says they also test at 3000Hz and you cant have over 40dB loss.
Anyone who took the hearing test have any advice?

Any military on this thread?
My application is complete and I'm trying to find out how long it takes to get a starting date from the date of discharge from the military.
I still can't believe it's been over 2 years since I took the written test, but CBP definitely helped me through a stop-loss deployment to Iraq. Not many agencies would do that.BP
