        • Finally was able to access my e-qip got my packet filled out and mailed out today, oral board interview on the 24th. I'll let you guys know how that goes (well I hope).

Quick question about the oral and getting accepted into the academy:
          1. Is there a scoring process for the oral like with the initial entry exam?

          2. Does said grade(s) effect how quickly one gets accepted into the academy? I.e. Does someone with a higher score with a later test date get in sooner than someone who tested before them but has a lower entry score?

The score from the inital entry exam only affects the order in which a TO is given. Once you receive a TO you are in the same line as everyone else. The quicker you get the pre-employment stuff completed the sooner you get to TSU. Once there you wait in another line for open positions.

              • TO? Living in Dallas all I can think of is Terrell Owens, as much as I despise the cowboys.

I need to get all of these real world acronyms down fast.

Last time I was at the CHU station in a marked kilo I got flipped off at a red light. Its no biggie, I was just curious. Congrats on doing well in the interview and best of luck in the process. Run a lot and do lots of push ups/ flutter kicks and you will do fine in PT. Good luck to you.

My interview was the HQ. It is a very nice area, I was surprised. Thanks for the advice, this career is something I really want.

Oh yeah, I am full aware. The past 2-3 years of TO in Dallas has consisted of constant media coverage. ack. I'm a Broncos fan, so I try to ignore it.
