Hey all,
Tomorrow I'm having the final interview in my hiring process for Sac PD. It's been about 7 months since I submitted my application, so I'm glad that there is now a light at the end of the tunnel. If I can get through this interview tomorrow, all I have left is the medical and psych exams.
I'm just looking for a few words of advice or for people to share their experiences with the chief's interview. Is it as intense as the oral boards (lots of situational questions, probing history questions etc.), or is it more a conversational interview so the chiefs will know personally what kind of chums are coming into the academy? I guess this varies depending on department and person you're interviewing with, I'm just unsure exactly what the goal of the chief's interview is.
Also, a silly technical question: I will be interviewing with a deputy chief. Do I address him as Chief So-and-So, Deputy Chief So-and-So, or just Mr. So-and -So? Thanks folks
