I was in the process for Pembroke Pines Fl. Conditional offer back in August/Sept. They began my background. I was offered the job at the end of Jan with a start date Feb. 16. I turned them down Feb. 2.

I got called yesterday April 1st, I accept the position to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The package suppose to be mail either today or tomorrow. Seem that many people are getting call for this position. Let see how short is the process. I'm currently a DOD Police Series 0083 with an approved Secret Clearance, so hopefully that will make the process shorter.

I read the description of the job on USA Jobs and on the CBP website -- it seemed to me to be more like an Inspector position -- did they just rename the title?

It does have name appeal, like sanitation engineer.

A few years ago it was Law Enforcement Communications Assistant (LECA).
