    The Apex Police Department is now hiring Police Officers!

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED (MINIMUM MUST-HAVES):
    Graduation from high school, or possession of a G.E.D. and Completion of a North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement Training Course and possession of a NC BLET Certificate, or Currently attending a North Carolina BLET Program, or Currently employed in-state as a sworn, full-time law enforcement officer with no more than a one (1) year break in service, or Two (2) years or more of full time, out-of-state sworn law enforcement service with no more than a three (3) year break in service.

    If you meet the requirements above, come and apply to be a "Protector of the Peak" and work for the Town of Apex Police Department!

    The Town of Apex Police Officer typical hiring range is $51,838 to $65,316. There are additional incentives available for lateral transfers, applicants with Associate or Bachelor Degrees, second language abilities and military veterans. The Town of Apex Police Department also participates in the Veteran Affairs Apprenticeship Program.

      I mean it’s a police department job posting not a federal one. There isn’t much to say, you apply on their website and go through the process on your own. The federal threads have more posts because they are often long sometimes even multi year processes and people want to stay up to date.
