Have my PTT scheduled for August 12th in Columbus. Anyone have any tips for improving sit-ups and push-ups? I am really close to the minimum requirements but I’m not super confident I can do it on test day. This will be my first physical fitness test for an agency.

I'm no fitness trainer, but one thing that has always worked for me has been to add weight to my pushups. You can use a weight vest or just a backpack with a barbell plate tossed in. Do 200 reps every other day, in as few sets as possible. Make sure to give yourself a rest day in between where you aren't doing any pushing exercises that work chest, shoulders, triceps.

If ATF is like most agencies you should have the ability to schedule a second attempt should you fail. Correct me if I’m wrong and I wouldn’t depend on a last chance scenario but if you’re close to the minimums just keep pushing even if you don’t pass the first one just to be safe.
