I would go to USA jobs and check there. Once logged in you go down to active applications and click track this application. It will take you to the marshals website which gives you the status. I went to an info session in may, applied and got referred about 3 weeks ago. Good luck

Good evening everyone! I attended the information session on May 11th and applied on May 20th. The applications closed on June 1st. How soon should I be expecting a notification about whether or not I’ve passed the assessment and been referred?

It varies but at least a month or more, I know someone who waited 4 months.

For prior military with VA disability. In the medical letter it said to bring all decision letters. I am having a hard time finding those. Can anyone offer advice. Thank you.

I’m with Watex. I also interviewed 1/31 and still waiting for the TOL. If I remember correctly, at the interviews in San Diego they told us it would be like 3 to 7 months before we heard anything.

Anybody have any idea if there is going to be another announcement this year? I sent four separate emails to different recruiting districts in my area and was told “no” by one district, while the other three either added me to a mailing list or did not respond.

For reference, I am in SOCAL, and sent emails to all CA recruiting districts as well as Arizona.

None that I have heard of coming up. Getting on the distribution list is definitely the first step bro. Just standby.

If you sent an email to the recruiter(s) then sometimes you may get an auto response and sometimes you won’t. I’m very far along in the process and I’ve continued to receive several emails inviting me to Information Sessions; I sent those email inquiries months and months ago.

If you don’t hear anything from anyone for maybe 2-3 months, then send another email (if you never received a response).

Right now, the process is moving at a decent pace. They are definitely trying to get the ball rolling on everyone.

Yeah, I definitely am prepared to wait. I received a response from West Texas and they put me on a list. Supposedly they are planning another announcement soon. I’ll stand by to stand by.

I thought one of the deputies at the interview told me if we did not pass we would be notified in about two months, if we did pass we would continue along in process and wouldn't be notified until the next step. What is the next step fingerprints and background check?

Abaddon, you are pretty much correct. If you failed you will be notified within a month or so. If you passed you will not receive any notification. The next step would be the TOL which could take up to 5 months to receive.

Memorize your own resume. Then practice the STAR method of interview responses. If you do this, you will pass.
