Scheduled my interview in Arlington for July

For those that done the interview, is it really a 2 hr ordeal? Just wondering.

Not even close. Maybe 35-45 minutes or so. It's a very straightforward panel interview. If you're in there for 2 hours something has gone terribly wrong.

So thought I would share my process so far

applied Though USAjobs in June 2020
interviewed in Dallas TX August 2020
conditional offer December 2020
medical February 2021
background February 2021
background email stating taken over by new investigator May 2021
medical follow up due to VA disability August 2021
fit test May 2022 passed
vaccine status and told to get booster may 2022
drug test June 2022

hopefully academy date is next.

it’s an extremely long process all I can say is just be patient.

Thanks, yeah it was a long time from my initial test to the interview and even longer until the conditional offer so I was surprised to schedule my medical so quickly after that. Good luck to you all!

Good stuff dude. It’s moving along for you. How long after your interview did you get the TOL? I knocked out the interview in SD back in Jan. Waiting on the TOL. If I remember correctly, I believe we were told at the interview that it would be 2 to 7 months before we heard anything again. Does that sound right?

Anyone know how USMS does the 1.5 run on a track or to a location and back, with everyone together or by yourself?

Mine was done on a local track that we drove to. Two other applicants with me and we all ran together. We were given our current time after every lap (quarter mile), so we had an idea of our pace.

It’s going to differ based on the station you’re doing it with. Simply train running both on a track and back and fourth. You don’t have to break any land speed records brutha. Just a good airborne shuffle will get you there.

As an aside, the DUSM at my info session said the test with them is a lot more forgiving and sympathetic than the one you'll receive down in FLETC with them. If you are close in any of the categories, best start dropping the weight and running.

atois408 I had my interview in feb 2022 and got my TOL early June, and a few weeks after that in mid June scheduled my medical. I thought it was moving quick too. Best of luck to you!

Foxx that sucks, I was interviewed by two people and they were both amazing, pleasant and we talked for a bit afterwards. And I'll admit I was a little surprised at the questions they weren't what I thought they would be from the Marshals Service

Yeah there was no conversation prior or after interview. Surprised it went straight to questions and not an intro just to know a bit of the person prior to better understand the answer.

Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids! In all seriousness, no one can really answer your question. You essentially sign a non-disclosure agreement before you interview.
