Yeah boys well see how it goes. They sent me an email today, pretty much saying I may be in school july or aug. They basically said there's a high chance Ill be at school without having a district to report too. Which means ill find out before I graduate. They said I would be given time to get settled and stuff before then too so it seems like we may be getting sent to school without a district right away. They are probably changing the way they were doing things I guess. I also feel like the process is going to speed up, I have gone back and forth with emails with their HR and they have been responsive at least in the last two weeks. We have some hope boys..

This process seems to be more bipolar than my last ex-girlfriend.

Based on the content of your email with HRD, it would appear USMS is going full FBI rules when it comes to location placement.

Has anyone conferred with any recent onboarding candidates since this new rule was announced?

I’m definitely all in, since I declined a covered 1801 offer last month, but a last minute relocate of my family from one coast to the other within 30 days of graduation is painful to imagine.

New to the group! Applied last July and had my interview last Friday in Arlington. Just got the email today saying I passed. Tentative Offer should be next, then the prerequisites along with the background. Hoping for a quick turnaround!

I think the entire process is actually going to speed up. They are done doing interviews and info sessions. This is going to stop adding candidates to work on and give more bandwidth to processing current applicants.

I got one of these at the beginning of March stating I may be selected for Q3 and asking for a list of preference districts. No further contact since then

Congrats!!! What did the email say exactly? Is it normal to get one that says you MAY be selected for an upcoming academy?

Just got this yesterday, not getting hopes up too high though. But looks like hope isn't fully gone that we could be picked up for school this FY year..

They also notified me that we may not find out our district until after school. Looks like they may just send us and well go to needs of the USMS.

Yea, that makes no sense. You can't take people from an applicant pool for another job/pay scale entirely. Use your brain lol
