anyone know if a GS 5 referral is negotiable for a GS 7 when I have 5 plus years of LEO experience and a bachelors?

Do you also need to bring your military medical record to the medical exam? Or just your standard childhood immunization records + Covid card?Last edited by TonySoprano; 11-07-2022, 07:22 PM.

For anyone trying to schedule in PHX. If you were successful how many phone calls did it take till the phone number didn’t say “we’re unable to complete your call at this time..”

Abaddon — I set my alarm to go off every 10 minutes and called the number they gave me like a Karen trying to make a complaint to Starbucks about getting the wrong order. It fluctuated from being busy to allowing me to leave a message. After about a few hours of consistently doing this, I finally got a hold of someone. I was able to schedule both medical appointments within the next week and 1/2.

haha nice. I called the number in the email they sent and got a hold of someone right away but they told me it was wrong number to make an appointment. Luckily they had the right number and I was able to schedule the medical the following week.

While checking my onboarding , I noticed that I have an upcoming medical appointment scheduled for November 17, 2022. However when I reached out to them they told me to disregard … unless they contact me directly then what I saw doesn’t exist.

Soon after I submitted all my TOL paperwork on USAJobs, I received an email stating: "Pre-employment Step complete - employment security process." So I already knew they successfully transferred my clearance. But I reached out to them after my medical for a status update and that's when they told me I was cleared medically and they're moving me into the hiring pool

Yeah I've been super surprised how fast it picked up after my interview. Seems like if you went to an info session/interview in the middle of COVID things were really slowed down

Hey everyone, I hope everyone is well! One quick question. I looked on the USMS website where you submit the docs, and it states that my MED is incomplete, but it shows a due date of 28 NOV, will they contact me to schedule the MED, or is that something I have to reach out for?

Funny, I just logged into my usastaffing account. Mine says medical exam due 11/23/22. You're suppose to disregard that message. Wait until they contact with instructions for the medical exam.

Where do you see where you are at in the process? Using USA jobs and tracking the application, at the top is shows the application process bar which is filled all the way. And below that is says Application Status: Accepted. Is this the same place you are looking?

I just keep track of it on a notepad/the paper they gave us after the Panel Interview.
