  • Was the TO the email link from OPM with the series, grade, location on it? I never saw anything else about the job, but sent back BI paperwork and now drug screening.

Your TO is a link in the invitation to continue email that they send all the security docs in. You have to click it and go accept it.

Armyretire you can if you still have the email with the instructions on how to get to it. Did you accept it already with the location they offered? I didn’t see the link until someone here pointed it out a while after I received it.

I'm not sure. Is it the onboarding link?

  • It was the TO. I never clicked on the “welcome” tab only the “tasks” tab. Been stressing out since 12/22 for no reason, lol.
    Apply 10/25
    Interview 12/5
    TO/BI paperwork 12/22
    Fingerprints sent 12/23

Drug screening this morning, too. Literally at the clinic now waiting to complete it.

Same here... waiting to complete drug screening now. This seems to be moving quicker than I expected.

Definitely seems quicker than it was in the past.

Similar time frame here. Interviewed the 8th, rest the same, pee test I'll do in the a.m.

  • I am just nervous because as far as I can tell no one has gotten any TO offers since the 22nd. My friend interviewed on the 7th and I on the 14th and y’all seems to be moving pretty fast. I know it just happened but I hope we hear something soon.

I was told i did not fail and i am getting a TO soon and i interviewed in June. Be patient

  • Got the Eqip invite this morning. If I'm not mistaken, an SSBI takes up to 6 months. When I was in the service a hundred years ago, it took 3 years, but I know that's been shortened. Anyone have an approximate time frame for EOD without an active clearance? I have another offer thats a second choice and more of a fallback. But if this is going to be 12 months, I may accept that one in the meantime.

I only had a 7 day time frame to submit it. Luckily I was pretty well prepared and had all the information ready and waiting, so I was able to submit it same day. You may want to go ahead and get your information together if you haven't already, so you can get it submitted quickly. I'm sure yours is coming.
Side note: it came from an investigator at Personnel Security at ATF, not USAStaffing or OPM, so check your spam folder.

Thanks. I’ve heard that if you’ve done an Eqip before, the information you submitted before will still be there. Even if it’s not, all my stuff is organized in its own folder for this purpose.

Anillo631 the info does stay..all you will have to do is update anything from the last time you did yours.

  • Thanks, Khamorski, for the verification. That’ll definitely make it go by faster.

    • Did anyone interview the week of 12/12-12/16? I see a lot of the people that interviewed the week before has heard back.

Several did I think. I went in 12/12 for my interview. Don't think anyone in the second wave has heard anything yet from the post I've seen.

    • I interviewed back In September. They called and had me come in a couple days later to fill out a couple forms. Thought it went well but haven't heard anything since.

Did you reapply in October? Some announcements don’t get funding, certificates expire, etc. But we also have another here that interviewed in June and is still waiting for a tentative offer, they told them he is still being considered. This is the worst part of the job that I can see, the process to get in.

I did. I usually apply for all of them. Was found eligible. Guess I'll just wait for a phone call if they want to interview me again.

    • I interviewed 12/22/22, and just received an email from usastaffingoffice an hour ago stating that I was found eligible. Is that a good sign that it might start moving?

Everyone that applied should have received one. My understanding is that is a required update email OPM has to send out a certain amount of time after each announcement closes. Going back in this thread, it didn’t mean anything. Mine said I was eligible and selected, they go off whatever your profile says when they send it out, whether it’s referred, selected, or not referred. If you haven’t received the email “invitation to continue” from USAStaffing, that’s the one you want to see.

If you never received the “your eligible” email from the posting you applied for- this might be it. That happens quite often. Sometimes the interview comes before the USAJobs notification.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t mean anything for the posting you interviewed for, in terms of things moving forward.
Have you applied for multiple postings? If you have, this says you’ve made the BQL and you’re eligible for an interview.

Thanks for the info. This was for the announcement in October…Still trying to figure out how I could qualify for the one they have year long.

Anillo631 you’ll have to have a diagnosed “severe disability” I can discuss how to qualify if that applies. Mine is moderate hearing loss

    • I received an "eligible" email as well from USAjobs for the October 2022 announcement. Are they possibly pulling more people for interviews? It appears they wrapped up interviews for this October announcement or not? Or was that from the February 2022 announcement? Thank you.

If you were referred, you may still get an interview. I know someone else was offered interview dates in December, January and February. February is cutting it close for the May 2nd training class though, unless you have a current TS clearance.

    • I was interviewed last month and today I received my USAJOBS notification of being eligible.

Awesome brother. Happy for you and thanks for keeping us posted. I’m wondering/hoping those of us found eligible are being held for the class after May.

Thanks! I can only assume. If a couple of us on here have received TO letters and this is just a small sample of the hundreds that applied, it’s possible they already have the 30 they need for the May class.

      • Oh man I really hope we don’t have to wait for the July class. I would love to get pushed through and do the May class

        • So I passed the interview on Dec 13 and filled out background paperwork. I emailed it on 23 dec and set finger print by FedEx on Dec 30 ( due to holiday) (signed for in DC) Has been a while now and haven't heard anything else. Couldn't even get tem to respond to email to confirm they got my paperwork. I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

It’s a hurry up and wait game. You got selected and a TO, which is a good start. I got drug test email after a week, they wrote me on 1/12 stating I needed to correct 2 forms I had sent in, (one was outdated), and also provided the EQIP link. There are others who interviewed in July and have been told that they are still going to receive a TO but haven’t yet. Just a waiting game.

        • Got the BI interview scheduled today. EQIP was completed on 1/14.
