Good luck. I’m still waiting on my invite. I found out my test results beginning of January.

Checkmate, if you don’t mind me asking, when did you send a resume in and to which office?

Does the PTT come just at a random time after you pass your entrance exam? Is it dependent on the field office you process through?

Also, I took the entrance exam out in Boston and then moved to Chicago. I sent an email stating my official address change and got a reply confirming they received it. Can i expect to just start getting emails from the Chicago Field office to start my PTT? Anyone In Chicago I should reach out to and confirm?

It says on the emails you're supposed to let them know if you move.

"Eligible applicants are responsible for notifying ATF of any change of address or phone number. "

        From my scores email.

How is the PTT ran and what does it comprise of. Every time I search it, it says the page is unavailable. My timeline so far is:

      8/29/20 orientation

      9/11/20 job open announcement

      9/14/20 notice to apply

      9/22/20 application submitted

      11/5/20 application approved and eligible

      12/15/20 written test date

      1/8/21 written test results (eligible)

When should I be looking to hear about the PTT? I see on this forum that some people received notice last week.

Anyone know how long it takes to receive the results from the oral board interview?

I'm going to take my oral board with another agency next week, would you say it was pretty standard interview questions? I am trying to get some idea what to expect from a federal interview.

How soon after finding out your written test results on average do you get an invite for the PTT?

Technically going out of New York but currently live in central Pennsylvania so that is where I’ll be taking the test

Anyone receive a written test scheduling email for the recent JOA (January 25th)?

I'm surprised this thread is as dead as it is. How are the people that are from the Jan 2020 announcement doing?

June 2020 announcement - just completed interview. Word on the street is that classes are backed up badly due to COVID, possibly
pushing back until 2022 per a colleague waiting on USMS class date. Hopefully things work out

Was this meant for the USMS thread?

NYC1175 No, just mentioned USMS as they attend Glynco as well and have been delayed by the COVID outbreak on campus as well. Former coworker is at ATF SABT right now and has mentioned how upcoming classes are looking at lengthy delays due to quarantine, etc.

Does anyone know if having in-laws who are not US citizens is a disqualification? My wife is a US citizen and Vet, but her parents are not.

I sure hope not! My wife is a green-card holder and none of her family are US citizens...
