Completed my interview earlier. It was definitely more in depth, and I highly recommend remembering the STAR method when answering questions. Without giving anything away don't psych yourself out and approach it like any interview, be professional and look the part. I've interviewed with a few agencies and the ATF agents seemed like they really enjoyed what they did and were passionate about the agency. Fingers crossed I get to move on but best of luck to those who still have to interview!Comment

I went to an ATF information session in the Midwest this week, and the agents hosting it said qualified applicants would not be invited to apply via a private announcement link. Instead, they said to expect a public announcement on USAJOBS within the next couple months. This came as a surprise to many of us in the room (myself included). The agents did tell us to leave our resumes on the tables where we were sitting.
Anyone had a similar experience at an ATF info session recently?Comment

Completed medical at the beginning of the month, fingerprints completed the same week. Any indication of how long before notification of next step, etc.?Comment

Well ****, I interviewed last month and thought the email I got, notifying me of the upcoming email to set up a profile on the tracker, meant that I had made it through the next gate. Yall are saying even people prior to the interview have gotten that?Comment

Checkmate I'd echo what you're saying. Seems like ATF is aiming towards a big hiring push in FY22 and I'd assume they are wanting to get all the hires that are at or past the interview stage through. So they can get this portal fully operational and a new hiring wave through more quickly. -
My opinion: For those that are at a certain point in the process, all our information was inputted into a tracker/portal and were notified. Those that receive the 2nd email passed the interview and will utilize portal to upload further requested documents. Good luck to all of you!
