For anyone that has completed the interview recently, how long were you on site? Trying to make travel plans. Thanks

Did my interview in Dallas at the beginning of March. HR reached out earlier this week for dd214 and other stuff. Anyone hear anything else? Also does anyone know how it works when they offer you and what location you go to. I have put down I'd gown anywhere in the country. Will they offer you a few locations and let you pick? I haven't been able to get a clear answer.

Well just got the bad news email- failed interview. Not sure how as I felt it went extremely well but anyway good luck to the rest of you fellas. Guess I'll be on the sidelines for another year.

Sorry man. Everything happens for a reason, even if that reason is not apparent yet. Good luck to you as you push on.

Keep trying. There are a lot of expected retirements the next few years. If you don’t already, get some local LE experience or look at BoP temporarily.

thanks fellas i'll give em hell on the next application

Sorry to hear, keep your head up brother. Any advice you can share from your experience for those who havnt gone yet? Anything you wish you could’ve changed?

Have there been any offers from the Philly interviews? It sounded like they were all related to the Dallas interviews.
I think no news is good news at this point. The ineligible notices seem to go out first. Then it seems to be offers to people who are mainly (?) current fed LEOs.
I'm assuming that anyone who hasn't heard back is still in the running. Since applying in December, I actually tried to update my resume to show I'm now a current fed LEO, but HR wouldn't accept the updated resume.

I got my TOL. It's is for. GL-5 which is being fixed to a GL-7 as I'm a current fed LEO at the GS12 level they confused my paperwork as no experience and only veterans preference. Is what the email back said. So if your a fed employee make sure they get your sf-50 and offer you the right pay grade.

TOL received for GS-7. Current fed LEO (but wasn't on my app in December), was in the National Guard (not considered a veteran though), have a law degree and a few years of prosecution experience.Last edited by Winter_Patriot; 04-01-2021, 12:09 PM.

Nice, good luck. Don't overthink it, it was not nearly as complicated as I expected it to be.Last edited by Winter_Patriot; 04-02-2021, 08:09 AM.

@TXSP
Do you think October academies are a realistic possibility for those of us that have received TOL’s?
Even with the small backlog of on-boarded people that have been hired and are waiting for the academy also?
Just curious...

I wouldn't be surprised if those of us who just interviewed are looking at a FY22 or even FY23 class date. My co-worker has been in the hiring process for almost three years and is still waiting on an academy date. Even if we were all cleared for hire in a few months, there's still a large backlog for FLETC. I just had my July IPPT FLETC canceled indefinitely due to COVID. I bet it'll be awhile before Glynco is running at regular capacity. Even if DC wanted to double the number of classes, I'm not sure they would be able to.
