Yeah only 6 classes this fiscal.

Jan, Feb, April, June, July, August.

Supposedly they are shooting for 1K hires in FY’23 out of sheer necessity.

Wild. Classes have 48 seats. I think there are only like 6 classes in 2022. People who went to October 2020 hiring sessions like me may not get a class seat until 2023 or 2024 it sounds like.

I cleared mine in October of 2020. I got lucky it seems and fell in with the 2019 applicants and their medical.

I have a lot of years of active app … wondering where I really fall in all this madness. October this year age out at 37.

TXSP honestly who knows cause I know a guy who just got an interview for feb. So I mean it prolly includes 2019 all the way till now. I mean there has to be a goood amount 2020/2019 left but my buddy is going to the February class and he is 2019/2020 applicant

That’s a pretty large pool. Wonder how many are from 2020 info sessions.

The pool isn't that large the email I got today from them is 1700 in the pre employment process total.

Rumor is no medicals are getting cleared from anyone outside of the 2019 expected hiring until those lists are exhausted. They still have a large candidate pool from 2019 to choose from.

Did anyone clear medical? Unless the USMS physical found something drastic, I don’t understand why it’s taking so long. Took mine July 2021

There is no rhyme or reason to how they pick and choose my buddy is slotted for February class he was 2019 wave 4 and got picked for February it's basically like if a district wants you they pick you no rhyme or reason we could be cleared for years but still never hear back the process is a wild luck of the draw.

Mine is a little backward on Backgroun and medical. Background cleared but medical hasn't. My timeline is above.

I’m a 2019 Wave 4 candidate who has been cleared for hire almost a year now. I still haven’t heard anything. Maybe a few of you 2020 folks will land in the August class? If not, it may not be until FY23 for you guys.
