    On your backround check should you list prior offenses even if they were commited as a child?(expunged records)

    I have a destruction of property offense when i was like 13.....

        Background Check.

        The first thing you need to know is, that in a Police Background Check, there is no such thing as an expungement. The Background Investigator is able to access any record(s) concerning you. That also includes your Driver's History. In filling out your questionaire, it is best to error on the side of caution. If you were stopped for say, a traffic violation, and only given a warning, list it. Come as close to the actual date/time as possible. What kills an awful lot of applicants is the fact that they fail to disclose something they should have. Background Investigators really don't like surprises.
