Rodger that. Be sure to get the ball rolling ASAP on computer access. Someone at the academy now told me he was still waiting.... He EOD'd a couple of days before going to the academy and he didn't get a chance to get things squared away beforehand.

Just got a call from my adjudicator who wanted to check some facts from my BI. It took my investigator almost a month to compile and send my report to DC. I'm now waiting for the last major step in the process!

Im in. EOD to Marathon 17 Aug, and FLETC 9 Sept.

Everyone...stay on top of your BI agent, IA agent and HR reps that have control and see movement of your package. Call them, email etc.

Long story short, my package had been lost in the shuffle. It appears "to me", that the reason for the SLOW turn around is the fact that IA gets the completed BI for "adjudication" per protocol. But, as IA views it as "closed/completed" it is set to the side. Their office is under the assumption that HR begins to place us in FLETC and further in the job process.

In fact they dont obviously. Understand that everyone's case is different. But I recommend a full court press, if.... it has been 3+ months since your BI was completed, and forwarded to IA.

If it has been less, let time tick. They are so back logged, the typical amount of BI's that I was told, Marine has is 100+ a month to sift through.

Again, this is just my opinion, from what I have gathered thus far.

Congrats to all who recently found out some good news!! This link is to an article that was in the sentinel on CBP Marine; testing the prototype scheduled to replace all 13 boats out of Miami's fleet and I'm sure eventually will replace all of the old Midnights. Not sure if I got this right, but cool video anyway. Seems to me like an exciting time to be starting a new career with CBP Marine!
