On tonights news, Sheriff wants to hire 50 additional by October.

From what I've seen, not knowing anyone there, it's not a bad place.

Will be having a big jail expansion and due to growth.

Just south of Atl airport. 40 miles of I-75.

Everyone certified or not starts in jail.
12 mos probation.
Certified rotate out of jail quicker.
5 day work week, 8 hrs.
Starting pay $34,000
When you come out of jail to warrant division, you are assigned a car.
If you live in county you take it home.

No PT test.
No polygraph.

Interview and turn in app to Det Pool
Board interview shortly after.
If you pass the background and board interview you wait for their authorization to hire.
