    Police Office Trainee
    City of Walnut Creek
    $25/hr while attending the Police Academy
    Final Filing Date: Friday, May 4, 2007, at 5:00pm

    The City of Walnut Creek is currently seeking applicants for Police Office Trainee. Walnut Creek Police Officers serve in patrol, traffic and investigation assignments. Fixed beats are assigned and patrol officers are responsible for providing patrol, investigation, crime prevention, juvenile, traffic and public assistance on their beat. New officers receive field training from an experienced Walnut Creek Police Officer prior to assuming the responsibility of a solo beat officer. The department has a 4-10/3-12 patrol schedule.

    Qualifications:
    Must be a minimum of 20 yaers and 6 months at the time of application and 21 years of age at the time of appointment. Applicants for trainee must have completed a minimum of 45 college of university semester units at time of application.

      do police officers qualify for FEMA trailers also ?most of us are"poor",can't find decent housing,and are treated like "unwanted refugees"...

        Too bad

        To bad those pay scales dont match MD and PA areas. I could start out at 75000 a year with my BA. Make about $40-45 a year here.
