Does anyone think someone who has minimal LE experience (failed-FTO/probation) has a shot at making it past the application screening process ?

KJB I actually do have a 4 year degree. I went through a lot to try and be a police officer, but i got washed out twice. I don’t have any excuses, I’m just trying to reboot my career.

I've been waiting on med clearance since December. Anyone else in a similar situation? I call every 2 or 3 weeks and get the same answer that my file is waiting on review in DC.

I gave them my position descriptions for all the LE jobs I have worked. I got letters from supervisors, coworkers, etc. stating I am fully capable of LE work despite my issues. I wrote up a memo explaining why I know I can still do the job. Plus I submitted a letter from my doctor saying I can do LE work.

I was referred to this position, and have yet to hear anything. Is it safe to assume that I'm out and will have to try again by reapplying? Thanks in advance.

Sorry made a new post to give background info accidentally. And process was started in the last announcement. Medical and PT in December, background started same time. No Poly. Medical waiver required for sleep apnea in June cleared for that last week.Last edited by Big Bill; 07-22-2019, 03:59 PM.

Haven’t sent me all information yet because they have to send all the information to TSA and apparently TSA has to “agree” to the EOD date. She did mention on the phone they have 2 dates in September middle and end that they were lining me up for.
