Does anyone know of an approximate time frame you get your assignment after submitting your preference sheets?

I haven’t scheduled a polygraph yet but from what HQ told me they are pretty backed up and everything is going to take longer than it had been several months ago. They told me to be patient and I would get the poly scheduled. Seems like anything not in the hands of a recruiter will probably take a while. I’m not too surprised everything came to a halt for most once they got a conditional offer. -
They are short on DEA polygraph examiners... I took my polygraph back the first week of April and the examiner told me she was booked until mid June. Also the examiner has vacation and training during the summer months. So it might be min bro

Are you allowed to pick another office in the same division you were recruited from or does it have to be an entire different state? -
Goldielocks You can pick any office that has availability (including your processing office) when you fill out your office of preference sheet. After that though, it's up to the needs of DEA. You may get offered a couple of your choices or none of them. -
JTemple I thought you couldn't apply in your processing office? Is this a new rule?

Received the letter last week that my conditional offer has been withdrawn and that I'm no longer being considered for the position. It was originally dated December 2018, but it was sent to the wrong address and so I never got it until May (derp). Interestingly enough, they told me I was free to re-apply if I so choose. I just sat for the HSI 1811 proctored exam, so we'll see how that goes. Congrats to those who got the call, and best of luck to the rest of you still in the process!Comment

My last step completed was the oral psych eval back in August 2018. I hadn't heard anything since then until the letter. For reference, here's my timeline:
Initial email to DEA recruiter: July 2017 (San Francisco)
Submitted application packet: December 2017 (SF)
Invite to orientation and written assessment: March 2018 (SF) -- moved to NY in February 2018.
Orientation: April 2018 (NY)
Written Assessment: June 2018 (NY)
New Haven MAC: July 2018 (interview, PTA, written psych) - got COL the same day I completed the written psych.
Oral Psych: August 2018
COL Revocation Letter: December 2018 (received May 2019)

Just passed final pft! Now, I wait. Recruiter also told me that my interim was granted and June’s class is only half full. Good luck to those who are still waiting!Comment

Does anyone know of a good timeline for an confirmation RSVP to the MAC? They emailed me early this month for the info on the MAC and I emailed two weeks later and still no response. In their email it said the cutoff date was early July to RSVP.Comment
