I know this announcement was highly anticipated but hopefully everyone that applied saw which locations will be offered.

Besides pay as a gs7 in dc why did deputies hate it there?

Well super court involves deputies having a six day work week. So that affects family time and the commuting also wears a person down. Going to court for six days a week for years really discourages a lot of deputies in DC

We don't have a six day work week; saturday is voluntary overtime.

Yea that’s what I meant. I know most guys want that OT due to the cost of living anyways.

          Relocation expenses reimbursed
          No

Yikes. I wonder what that kind of relocation (PR) would run out of pocket.

I got my 4 year degree in 2012. So I'm not a recent graduate. I am in the process of starting my masters degree, but I haven't been officially accepted yet. Would I be able to apply and say that I'm in the process of enrolling back in school?

No sorry, you need to have graduated within the last 2 years or be graduating by june 2018.

When applying it said that you have to be a recent graduate or a current student.

I applied without using my veterans preference since I am still on active duty with AFOSI and have more than 120 days until I ETS. Hopefully my timelines are good, if not, i'll consider this a practice round and maybe third time will be the charm. Good luck to everyone who applied.

I'm in the same boat as you, active duty in the Marines, with a little over 120 days before I EAS. Hopefully the hiring process works out for us. This is my first time applying .

I'm just outside the 2 year scope. Graduated 2014. What happens if you apply anyways, do they just not process you?

you will get a letter saying you were ineligible, I applied under VRA for the 2017 announcement thinking my early transfer into the reserves would get approved. When it didn't go through and I was not able to produce a DD-214 they just marked me as ineligible and shut it down.

                    I interviewed June 4th. I wasn't anticipating hearing anything until around September-October.
