Congrats to everyone who made it into the Feb class! How long did everyones' background take? Any new updates?

Prior Military & Prior Federal Employee with Secret clearance. Mine took SEPT 01 to NOV 17.

Thank you! I really don't know how long mine took, but can make an educated guess that it was about 5 months from submission of e-qip to adjudication. I submitted e-qip in late April, was contacted in early May by my Investigator. We met in June. I had old co-workers/Supervisors/Friends contacting me periodically until late August telling me that they were contacted by investigators. My best guess as to when the investigation was complete is late August, early September and believe adjudication occurred in September. I was contacted by phone by HR asking if I was still interested in the position in October.

I'm also prior military and a current Federal Employee with a Secret Clearance. Unsure if that expedited the process at all or not.

I don't know if any of this is helpful but I remember the agony of the wait all too well so please feel free to reach out anytime and if I can help answer a question, I will definitely try - that goes for anyone.

Just wanted to update my status in the Ioi process. I was notified today that my BI was completed and adjudicated. After reading everyone's posts, I really do not know what to expect moving forwrd. Anyone know what the next step maybe in the process.?

Congratulations on getting through the BI and adjudication. The next step in the process is to find things to distract yourself while you wait for "the call", which could literally come tomorrow or 2 years from now.

What location were you tentatively selected for?

Thank you! The waiting is what I figured was next. I was tentatively selected for mobile, al. I guess they will contact hard to fill or designated "priorities" areas first.

For anyone that is attending the February class, anyone receive any guidance on what will happen to us if the government shuts down? Called HR and they didn't give me any information.

Anyone who received and filled out an SF-86 in November or December had a sit down interview yet? Just curious if anyone else has had any progress.

I had my sit down in early Jan but haven't heard anything since. Hoping they are busy getting the Feb class going and then maybe well hear something. Anyone else have an update?

I call once a month to confirm I am still a candidate

I called HR about 2 weeks ago and they told me that I was still a pending candidate. I just hope they get rolling on it soon.
