I am checking in applied for position no movement yet on my end at this time patiently waiting.
Presently 20 years experience in Law Enforcement 50/50 between road and admin. 8 years federal service and have worked for agency last 2 in another role. AAS Degree.Last edited by brownbear93; 07-25-2017, 01:45 PM. -
So far I've gotten non-select letters for Atlanta and Jacksonville.
the email stated:
"(X) Based on your score & the volume of applications rec'd for "Atlanta, GA",you were not within reach to be considered, however that does not affect your "eligibility consideration" for the other (if any) locations you applied to."
I got got an email stating the same for Jacksonville,Fl. I have 3 years police experience, 10 pt vet, and a bachelors with SAA.

I interviewed in Miami last Friday. They seemed unaware of me also selecting Tampa and Jacksonville. Hurry up and wait it seems though I heard on these forums we should get a status update by a month out from the interview. They did not have a time frame on when the position would be available for next step.

This process is very strange to be honest. I believe where you interview makes no difference to where you may be selected. I applied probably a little less than two years ago. Interviewed in Newark, NJ for a position in Milwaukee as they didn't have any locations in the area where I lived in NJ or NY. I met with a background investigator, he submitted my info for adjudication early last year. Then when I moved and got a new job I emailed the ATF HR the updates. They acknowledged the changes and I literally have not heard anything for probably about a year. I probably would not the the job now anyway because I like my job now, don't really want to move to Milwaukee, and also in the process for SA and would prefer that anyway. Just wanted to give you guys my process to show you how strange this process might be.Comment

Just spoke to the HR department and found out that the next scheduled training class at FLETC is in February. Completed everything. Just waiting to see if I am selected. The HR rep told me they still will make final selections even if you went thru the entire process. So even if you pass everything you still may not get it. Just an FYI for everyone. Good luck.Comment

Still crickets on my end. Do know one applicant not referred last week. Also I had a secret background went to top secret when I took a position with agency. Just got cleared a month ago. It began a year and half ago.Comment
