  • What are the standards for the fit test? I couldn't find it on their website the other day.

I head that there are different standards from FLETC to JJRTC. Is this true? The packet that I got stated that there would be a fit test when we arrived at JJRTC, but nothing stating that there would be one at FLETC; that is unless we just do the FLETC fitness test.

And also... Sit and reach. Really?

Fletc has their own test. It is participation based. The SS has theirs. You will run both at fletc. Make sure you pass the SS test

I heard if you don't pass the USSS fit test at FLETC you will get "extra attention" through remedial PT at all hours of the day. :-/

Hence the reason why I have been hitting the gym/pavement like a madman lately.

I'd say I am in a good spot for FLETC, nowhere near where I would like to be, but still looking good. Max out on situps, do well on pushups, my run is looking pretty good too. The one area that I will be focusing on from here until I go down to GA is chinups.

                          • I found some old 2009ish forum posts that said 10 points. But I'm not sure if that's still the case

I think that is what I heard. 10 points for your time at FLETC, then 12 points for JJRTC.
