Has anyone ever had any success doing something to move on from their polygraph? I've been waiting for months and no one I've called or emailed has been able to help move things along or even give me an accurate status.

IMO the post-poly wait is like a secondary pool / purgatory where you sit until they are interested in hiring you, then they'll call you and the 2nd "half" begins. Then once/if you complete the 2nd half (BI, Med, HI [yes, M&M's FTW]), into the "pool" you go.

There are lots of classes scheduled this year and next, over ten each year. With that being said some of the classes only have nine or ten in each. From what I'm being told the board is rejecting many more than they are accepting, with the thought process being they would rather not fill the class than hire for the sake of hiring. I'm routing for you guys though!

Thanks for the info! Any insight as to what factors the panel is considering to put candidates into the accept or reject pile?

I'm curious. ...do SS still carry a SIG? Went shooting with friend.. I use my beretta m9.....have a glock also but prefer the beretta. Will have to try out my father-in-law's sig.

So do you actually make an appearance in front of the board or is your packet just sent up and they give it a final review for a decision?

Packet is just sent up and you either get The Callâ„¢ at some point or a BQA email.
