  • Hello everybody. I need help please. Can anybody explain to me who foreign contacts are? I have my mom and my sister here. But I only communicate with the rest of my family that live in another country using facebook and instagram using likes and picture comments. Do I need to include any of them?

    Thank you.

I would include them if there is extended conversation via social media... for likes? no... for comments? maybe. The simple fact that you have family in another country would be of interest to them so it may come up regardless of your minor use of social media to communicate.

God never promised that it would be easy, just that he would be there with you every step of the way.

That filled up in a day and a half.

  • Has anyone had any movement with their process? I had my second polygraph 6 weeks ago and haven't heard anything.

no movement in 2 months. -_-
      Adjudication

  • Got an email at 730pm to register for an ELAC and the cutoff is midnight same day. Is that normal? Also, it's kind of impossible to get an eye exam in a week or so before the ELAC. Has anyone had any luck asking to be included on the next one?

Just call around and find somewhere that will do it asap. What I did.

  • Does anyone know if USSS will accept a poly from ICE? What is the polygraph reciprocity policy with USSS?

I could be wrong but I don't think they reciprocate. FBI, USSS and Department of State 1811s don't reciprocate BIs from other agencies.

  • Guys I have my polygraph in 2 days but I just recieved a e-mail saying " do to your request you are no longer under consideration for the UD" did anybody ever recieve anything like this? I never send anybody a e-mail saying I like to withdraw. No one has access to my e-mail.

That is odd.... maybe call the hotline?

  • 2 questions for anyone who might know.

    1. How long are the SAEE results valid?
    2. Is there any sort of expedited process for a current 1811?

    Thanks

      I thought I heard 1 year?
You have FLETC already so it should be easier once you're hired, but I believe its the same long hiring process.

  • Guys did anybody's polygrapher made them feel like they failed 1 question but found out you passed at the end? Or I am being optimistic. :|

Typical when dealing with a polygraph.... its a method to elicit additional information. Don't worry too much about it. I've been told I've failed in a previous polygraph and found out I passed a few days later.

I know of instances where you're told you've completely blown one of the questions and then they grill you on that one question and you leave feeling like you blew it but just prior to leaving being asked if you're willing to retest.

  • Thank you for the reply. Anybody know the average wait time to hear anything after the polygraph? I had my credit and background pulled before the Polly.

When did you take it and what is your location? from what I'm reading, location is a big consideration on the speed of the process. I'm surprised I'm progressing so quickly myself.

jberry811 They only required use to print the archival copy. That is what I brought to the ELAC in Atlanta, Georgia.

I don't think you have to print anything. For mine, I just showed up to the poly.

wannabeleo33 Sorry, he was referring to the Security Interview which did require the print out of the archival eQip... some people got sent home at the ELAC for not bringing it.

  • Question about medical DQ's and requirements...

I read some posts in this thread about people getting medically DQ'd, but the author doesn't mention for what.

I have some medical issues in my past and some minor things that bother me currently. I feel like Kyle's cousin from South Park sometimes so I thought I'd ask you all if you think my medical issues are disqualifying.

-Past history (6-7 years ago) of seeing a psychiatrist off and on, trying a few different antidepressants and ultimately stopping treatment. Was going through a rough period in my life, but I don't know what the doctor's records say about me. I ended up going on testosterone replacement therapy and have felt like a million bucks ever since.

-Saw a sleep specialist and was prescribed some sleep meds for a few weeks due to having trouble sleeping. Had a sleep study done that found nothing wrong with me at all. I ended up stopping all sleep meds after that.

-Diagnosis of herniated disc, pars defect and annulus tear in my back. Gives me some sciatic pain when sitting a lot but otherwise no issues. Lift weights and do Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu no problem.

-Some lingering shoulder impingement from a military injury. Does not prevent me from doing combat sports or weight lifting.

-I have a deviated septum and was prescribed flow-nase recently to improve nasal breathing.

-I have HSV-2. Look it up, yes it is embarrassing to talk about but I treat it preventively with medication.

That's all the cards on the table. When I type it all out I look like a mess! But in reality I am a very athletic, fit, active guy. Any thoughts on my medical eligibility?

it doesn't matter what anyone's thoughts are. No one on this website has the authority to qualify you or disqualify you .

I understand that. I’m trying to get a feel for whether or not I’m wasting my time applying. Curious what other people have been DQ’d for in the medical.

I passed the SAEE today. The USSS web site says the next step is the PT test, but posters on this forum do not indicate that in their timelines. What does come after the SAEE?

As stated, medical portions will be on the agency to decide on a case by case basis... you may have better luck pming the individuals you saw who were medically DQed. There is not physical test in the hiring process at the moment from my understanding. Has never been mentioned during the process either.
