  • Good Morning all, I'm new here. Referred to Schedule EOD 6/19/2009. My original GEOPREF was VT, then I was emailed and asked to change my pref to Jackman, ME. I did that, received my TO, then applied under the new announcement in April for VA (many vacancies). I then received a new NOR listing my GEOPREF for VA at GS7. Anyone else waiting in TSU for VA? How long? Process moved along quickly after TO. Tested 08/08, TO 02/09, everything else completed by 06/09.

    Thanks!

That's interesting...The FLETC website makes it sound like if you don't pass all phases of the PEB you get sent home because your a liability. The standards all look pretty easy, but if I don't have to worry about it that's great!

Unless a person is badly out of shape, has poor eyesight or is just a discipline problem, anyone who gives 100% should be able to get through FLETC.

Walmart is a bit more than a mile...maybe closer to two miles off base from the front gate. 30 minutes is one hellaciously slow bike ride there.

                    • Has anyone had to do a Polygraph for their CBP Background? My husband finally got the call for his BI today and they set him up for a polygraph. I know it says in the application that a polygraph may be given, but I don't know anyone that has had to do it. He has one of the cleanest background I've ever seen. Didn't know if this was common practice now...

Hey, their have been a few guys on here who had that done. It may just be personal preference of the investigator or if they came across conflicting info somewhere during the BI.

Have you heard anything at all? VA was supposed to have many vacancies; i thought things would be moving more quickly there.

Thats something you are going to have to work out. You can rent a car or just take yours to Florida and drive it to FLETC. Unless you can find someone at your POE to cart you to and from work.
